The old ivories no longer laugh when I tickle them. Silent for too long, they slap dust on my stiff fingers, unused to my touch. I’m sorry, I whisper. I really should play more often. A futile feeling, we both know. I’m no music major. College sniffed me out, a less- dedicated player, crippled my hands and wed me to coursework. And now--a stranger to my own instrument. Our muscles and strings creak together, longing for days of practice past.

OMG FALL

*jazzy music* "oh, the weather outside is frightful-" me: DELIGHTFUL, MORON!! IT'S DELIGHTFUL!! singer: O.o uhhh...'kay. *scoots away from piano, disturbed* me (attempting to sing): Let's try it again, boys. "OHHHHH, THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS..." Definitely delightful, don't you agree? ^^  i wuvs autumn. and i WOULD spend a lot more time outside if it weren't for STUPID SCHOOL. Ugh. happy, happy birthday, deviantArt! though i've only known you for like 3 months, i've grown to love you. even though ver. 6 is kinda annoying. and you take up my time way more than you should. and you make me feel guilty for not submitting anything. other than that, you're completely, deviously...deviant. to celebrate, i'm trying to win some caption contests. and if i find any other festivities to my liking (key word: find...it's so big, where to start?! D: ), i will participate. and now, despite it being 2 AM, i shall uploading some of my pics...not drawn, of course, but photography. sigh...my dad teaches it, so it's in my young veins, i g
